Hawaii Braces for Hurricane Lala

Hawaii Faces the Storm of Its Century Hawaii has been bracing for a direct hurricane landfall after 155 years.

The storm, Hurricane Lala, has strengthened into a Category 1 hurricane with maximum sustained winds reaching 75 mph.

An enormous eyewall is projected to pass over or near the southern end of the Big Island by Saturday evening.
